Approximate cost after subsidy
Complete installed cost — panels, inverter, structure, wiring, labour and net metering — with GST shown separately, as installers quote it. Rooftop solar is taxed as a composite supply: 5% on 70% of the project and 18% on the rest. Actual quotes vary with the brands you pick, the dealer and your roof; a branded install with DCR modules sits at the top of the range, a local installer below it. Treat this as a starting point for comparing offers.
